Sunday March 23, Early Start

I'll be starting early on Sunday again, 6 AM, Cook St Starbucks. They are open at 5:30 AM. The usual early start route, N on Cook all the way thru to Matticks then L to go across the highway N of Elk Lk then find our way to W Saanich Rd, L on Royal Oak to Mt Doug and follow the usual Friday route along the wf till we meet up with the regular Sunday ride coming N somewhere near Oak Bay Marina.

I'd like to do a zip up Willis and the Observatory before hitting Interurban along the regular Sunday route.

I liked how the "part way up Willis" turns into "all the way to the water and back" there Barton! Actually glad I did that. That climb is tasty!

Barton, Marcus, new guy Andrew Neil (I taught his girls, super awesome family!) and I did the extra bit today. Highly recommended. Thanks Barton.

That was an interesting detour! Marcus's idea; mine was to go to the old dump! Interesting that it is about 6.5 K to the top from Wallace but 2.5 K from the bottom of Willis Point back up!
