looking forward to one of our intrepid reporters letting us all know how it was. Watching was GREAT!
A big thanks to Kim & Joe for arranging the race and to all the awesome volunteers (including those who, for example, rendered race day medical assistance!)
Way to go Tripleshot!

Great race. Thanks to the organizers and volunteers.
I'd give a detailed race report but couldn't see anything from my vantage point.
For those of you not there it was hilly with approximately two Malahat climbs of vertical (700m) in 6 laps.
I knew I was in trouble when a turkey vulture was circling me on Lindholm. No kidding.
Lots of awesome TSC performances though. Scotty won a medal ( in full TSC gear). Ryan was very strong - not sure how he didn't win a medal. Norm looked strong and finished well in his group. Alan put in a heroic ride with Chris Fraser not far behind. David and I survived for the finish; I couldn't have gone another meter. John Guthrie won a medal too and I know he secretly wants to wear our gear.
I think I'll recover enough by Canada Day for the Hurricaine Ridge ride.
See you there,
Eric

hey, when --and where--are they posting the race results?. I want to check out how many 70-year olds kicked my butt. As my wife said: "they've got 30 years more of racing experience on you." Something to work towards.
As my first race (to finish) it was a ton of fun.
A big "Bravo Zulu" (Navy term for Job Well done) to Pete, Kim and Joe for a wonderul (albeity painful) race experience!

Ya Alan, we've got 30 years of training ahead to get faster.
The results are on the BC Masters Cycling website (duanebc.com). This link may work:

But you really don't want to look.
Cheers,
Eric
