Women's Group Riding & Racing Skills Clinic

The women's learn to group ride/race clinic is ready to roll!

Cost is $100. Online registration is at:

Starts April 8th and is Monday nights from 6-7:30pm. Included is 3 skill sessions, 2 nights of beginner racing at Western Speedway, 1 night at the velodrome and a target race of the OBB Windsor Park crit on Sunday May 19th.

There is a fantastic group of ladies lined up for leaders, including Glenowyn, Kate, Deb, Barb, Paula and Jennie LIn.

A series of skill and training sessions to get you into group road cycling and racing. Starting with braking and riding close to others, up to small group training road races and more! Our goal is to see more women riding and racing – attending our sessions will ultimately have you feeling more confident and skilled riding in groups and racing.

Sessions lead by experienced local women racers.

A Cycling BC citizen licence is recommended for those interested in racing and can be purchased through CCN. A day of licence may also be available at race events.

In conjuction with the clinic, Trek Pro City is hosting a free beginners maintenance clinic on Wednesday, April 10th in the evening.

1. Poster is online! I've put a link to the poster at the bottom of the TS homepage. Please help to plaster these around town as appropriate!

2. Open to Donations! If you have anything that you can contribute in terms of goodies or swag, that would be fantastic. Even a coupon or discount for your company? Mandy at Accent Inns has kindly given some awesome bike lover stickers!

3. Please help spread the word! The clinic is about 1/4 full and starts in just over 3 weeks! It would be great to have a huge group of ladies out again this year! I know I've heard a few of you mention you have wives, partners, friends, coworkers.... interested so please encourage them to register!
