I plan on doing a steady Sunday-style ride with a friend from out of town. Starting at Cook St. Starbucks at 6:00 a.m.: Waterfront to Island View, Saanichton, Wallace, Observatory, Interurban, coffee in Vic West or downtown, hopefully around 9:00-ish.

Ideal average pace (depending on how many we are) of 28-30 km/h.

Great! Jamie and a couple other Farmers are in, too. I think Jamie's been riding C with Michaella recently.

There will be much taking of the airs and ministering of the spirit.

Hi Rolf;

Are you meeting at McBucky's at 6:00am or departing there at 6:00am? I ask, 'cos Michaella and I are planning on meeting Dave Spiers at the Hub and Spoke. If you care to join us there instead of McBucky's that'd be great....otherwise, what time should we look for you at Cook and Dallas?

It's too early and too cold to ride bikes. I'm going to ride from teh Hub & Spoke after the TdF stage...

That was a lovely ride in lovely conditions. People came, people went - but to have as many as 16 or 17 folks out for a 6 a.m. weekend start was pretty special. Great to see some IRC hammerheads enjoying a Farm pace, too!

My visitor (Adam) had a good ride, despite having the only flat. Thanks to all for helping start the weekend out right.
