The whispers have been following Indurain for the last couple of years and are getting louder.
Nice to see Lemond coming through in good shape.

And meanwhile Cycling Canada remains silent on the UCI election, not daring to show their hand in support of McQuaid's challenger. Write your provincial president and ask why.

Lister,
Could you post contact info for both the BC Cycling President, and the president of Cycling Canada.

Re: power output and TdF winners
Cycling BC doesn't have a President right now. (I guess their dysfunction continues?) We are invited to send correspondence to the Acting President, the VP Road & Track, Tim Abercrombie
CYCLING BRITISH COLUMBIA
Attn: Tim Abercrombie, Acting President
#201-210 West Broadway
Vancouver, BC V5Y 3W2
tim@cyclingbc.net
Also:
CYCLING CANADA CYCLISME
Attn: John Tolkamp, President
Suite 203, 2197 Riverside Drive
Ottawa, ON Canada K1H 7X3
or you could send a message to his home address:
902-1675 W 8th Avenue

I hope it's not an indication of their approach to governance generally, but the CCC website's page on governance is a screaming joke. Rather than share board policies, committee minutes or other governance information (which obviously exist and are referred to in their 2011 Annual Report (the most recent one listed!)), their governance page is instead stacked with filler: operational policies applicable to national teams and athletes that surely belong elsewhere. Doesn't give one much confidence in their commitment to seeking greater transparency from the UCI!
I'd like to work on a draft letter to both bodies requesting information and transparency regarding the process Mr. Tolkamp and the CCC board will undertake before participating in the selection of delegates representing the Americas confederation (COPACI) at the UCI Congress in September. Such letter could also express support for Brian Cookson's candidacy, though I don't have much reason to support him other than that he's anyone but McQuaid. If I get one done, I'll post it here so you can cut and paste into an e-mail.

Re: power output and TdF winners
Interestingly: the UCI lists the Americas confederation (COPACI: the Confederacion Panamericana de Ciclismo) website as http://www.copaci.co.cu, a Cuban URL that is a dead link. Isn't it a good feeling to know that this organization, that will represent your and my interests in the election of the next UCI President, is presented on the internet by an error message coming from a Cuban server?
Okay, back to real work...

I have less than zero experience, but as a relatively large club, are we able to write a letter on behalf of Tripleshot Cycling to CBC?
I've got an obnoxious helmet. It's green.
