Anyone age 40-50 racing Shawnigan Masters next weekend?

Post by mfarnham »

I was thinking of trying this out as my first race. Let me know if you're going and if you need a ride.

I'll also be there this weekend, in the 30s cat with Stephane. Steve you need to definitely come, it's pretty fun.

I'll be there, 50 to 59 group. So much fun! Especially being dropped before the top of the first hill. I look forward to that oh so much!

I am in too. HOW ABOUT OUR TRIPLESHOT WOMEN ??

Now who is going to keep me company in the 60 to 65 age group??

It is a good route, 5 or 6 loop course, a few hills and..... 3 medals for each 5 year age group.
SPREAD THE WORD TRIPLESHOT. And I believe it starts at noon. pc

I'll totally be there Mikey! I don't know how you are going to be able to catch me though...I will have a generous age related headstart.

I wouldn't mind carpooling. I live in Esquimalt and I would like to be in Shawnigan no later than 11:15.

I think I'm giving Paul a ride from Fairfield, and I could take one more definitely. I have a 4 bike rack (Yakima) but I've never tried to fit 4 bikes on it (except mtn bikes--it only fits three of them). So if someone's prepared to take a chance, I could potentially take Paul plus 2 more. I was planning to be headed toward Mill Bay at 10am.
