I realize this may start a war, but...

Post by wonger »

I was thinking that I rarely get the chance to join the group for coffee anymore due to time restrictions and young kids etc. It would be a lot easier for me and possibly others, if we were to change the location of the post ride coffee.

Say we were to have coffee at the Cook St. Moka House - would that cause big problems? It's a lot closer to Beacon Hill and would save me at least 10 minutes so that I could stop for a coffee.

I know, change is bad. Just thought I would float it. I don't want to break up the group so its either all in or all out. Anyone got a thought on this?

You are very brave indeed Geoff! Suggesting such a profound change!

If we jump on with the farm team after Caddy Bay hill repeats we go for coffee at Cook St. I know that does not help you on that day.

I must say I do like Shoal Pt for Tuesday and Friday. I do recognize we have a number of people that live in Fernwood, Fairfield, Oak Bay and coffee place closer to their home would be more convenient.

Shoal Pt works for me and I'd rather not see it changed. I am sure there will be many other comments!

There is this thing called "compromise"....perhaps we could do Shoal pt Tuesday and Cook St Mocha Friday? Or vice versa.

This one may end up being the longest stream of comments ever: Re. coffee spots

First of all, guys over 55 are not very good at change or comprimise(or maybe its just me?

I have had the donuts at Disco on Disco, which are made at James Bay Discovery...and they are GREAT. And I really like CSV Moka.....however,
My vote is to stay at Shoal point. With better weather we will have over 20 people there...and that would be a stretch for CSV Moka house.

p.s. did you know you can get a coffee with free refills,a muffin and a TC newspaper for $1.46, at Micky D's??

I was at Discovery Discovery a few days ago but I was too early - the Yonni's delivery wasn't for another half hour or so. :-( Didn't have time to wait.

No chance. Way tight quarters in there.
