Following an overenthusiastic kiss of the Blarney Stone, reputed to inspire a loquacious nature (what, even more?!), Peter "I like to suffer" Lawless, is taking a beating in the Giro de Emerald Isle.
But not from the lip injury suffered in his visit to Blarney Castle
but from Pot Irlandais* deprivation. "I didn't know it would be so far between pubs. It must be at least 2 or 3 km, and my lips just can't do without."
Womb-mate Mike, on the other hand is taking a pounding at the legs of Team Leprechaun, who take exception to his mocking their look. "When they said I should shave or else, I thought they meant my legs." recounted Mike from the ditch.
