Thanks to everyone for the concern this morning!

Thanks for the support this morning! I'm alive, wobbling around on crutches. Special thanks to Alan for the raised eyebrows at my attempt at self-medication, and to Mike Lawless for sticking around with me.
I've got an obnoxious helmet. It's green.

David,

Glad to hear you got help. I hope you heal fast. I just logged in to post a similar message, though my troubles weren't nearly as serious. I double-flatted at the end of lap three on the short 'ramp' that takes us from Henderson onto Cedar Hill X. Greg immediately left the group. With his help, and one of his inner tubes, we were able to get both tires repaired within minutes. I know that Greg usually has to leave the ride early anyway, so bailing out then was an especially big sacrifice for him. The A's returned just as we finished, but then waited after the sprint and even started retracing their route just so we wouldn't miss the waterfront ride. Thanks a lot everyone.

They were all dying for a rest after I made them chase me for most of Lap 4.

Oh ya, I forgot to mention that Steve didn't stop to help and then rushed them around just when I needed a them to do a slow lap.

The A group is no place for leisurely tire changes. You may thank me later for motivating your swift repairs. Not all help is of the hands-on variety.
