Distinct possibility, although I'll have to peel off at King George Tce. Gotta get a bone scan under way at the Jubilee at 8, and I bet the radiology shop would prefer that I've had a shower.

Kate: I know your foot is not your brain, but your brain is perhaps not making the best decisions right now. So listen to your foot. And sleep in like a normal person before driving to the hospital.

(This is obviously unsolicited, unqualified advice, and should be happily ignored. But from the outside looking in and after reading your latest blog post, I think you're being kooky. )

Well, hopefully I didn't over-reach with my suggestion. Our ride was fairly calm this morning and you may well have been fine. But this ain't the 1919 Tour de France and you're not a bricklayer forced to ride through broken bones to feed the mouths at home (I think).

Hope your scan went okay and your healing process is speedy and predictable over the holidays.
