Christmas Party Music

Post by Quentin »

Ok, so I am tasked with providing a playlist for the evening that "doesn't suck" and I need your help! Providing music for a club with an age range such as ours so that everyone is happy is an almost impossible task! This is where you come in; I need your help! Please let me know what YOUR favourite tunes are and I'll do my best to play them. You can either post them below, or PM me if you're too embarrassed to tell everyone that you're a huge Bieber fan!

You can't go wrong with Turn Me Loose by Loverboy! Could you play that one 3 or 4 times? I'd be happy.

I'm probly not much help here

Kraftwerk - "Tour de France"

Queen - "Bicycle Race"

Stiff Little Fingers - "White Christmas" (nothing to do with bikes, but an Xmas favourite nonetheless)
"Talk - Action = Zero" - Joe Keithley

Dave Matthews, Ol Dirt Hill. In honor of 'cross, not Christmas. :)

"Ride my bike down that old dirt hill (can't catch me)
First time without my trainin' wheels
First time I kissed you I lost my legs (can't catch me)
Bring that beat back to me again"

'Kissed you' refers to hitting the ground, in case you thought i was getting sentimental.
Lister
"We're jammin', jammin',
And I hope you like jammin', too."

Actually, it's groovy but prolly not party music, but I just got swept along the whole "Bike Music" thing and had to stick my oar in.

AC/DC for me
the Ramones for the 'older' John Taylor
And for good measure, Queen's Bicycle song, pasted below

Bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle bicycle bicycle

I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like

You say black I say white
You say bark I say bite
You say shark I say hey man
Jaws was never my scene
And I don't like Star Wars

You say Rolls I say Royce
You say God give me a choice
You say Lord I say Christ
I don't believe in Peter Pan
Frankenstein or Superman
All I wanna do is

Bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my

Bicycle races are coming your way
So forget all your duties oh yeah
Fat bottomed girls they'll be riding today
So look out for those beauties oh yeah
On your marks get set go
Bicycle race bicycle race bicycle race

For the 59 plus crowd-----Mark Ford, me and hopefully someone else....how about some Frank Sinatra, a few Elvis tunes and maybe a little Barry Manilow.

Just kidding,. Give me some 70's classic rock...even the Juniors like it!
