Sizing

Post by wonger »

Has anyone else noticed that their kit sizing is off? I have a large race cut jersey that is significantly larger than the last four I've purchased. It's an inch and a half longer in the body and sleeve. Is it just my jersey or has anyone else noticed this?

The sleeves on my large fleece jacket/jersey are surprisingly long. It will probably end up being a good thing, but I thought I'd mention it.

So it's not just me. My medium race cut jersey is longer then before, and it sticks out around the armpits a lot.
It's kinda like a large race cut had a baby with a medium club cut, but there is a chance a medium race cut could also be the father.
It seems like there's a bit of all of them in there............

Pre-city mentioned this when they did their order.
I've got an obnoxious helmet. It's green.

Large bib shorts fit smaller then large black kit bibs but I guess they will stretch.

Medium bib shorts fit more like small. The short sleeve regular jersey fits like it should.

On a different note. My long sleeve jersey sponsors' logos, on the pockets, are upside down. Anyone else have printing issues on their gear? Can you all have a look.

On a more positive note, it looks as if they may have finally gotten rid of the crappy zipper on the wind-vest. It doesn't open from both the top and the bottom any more (which is too bad), but at least it doesn't take four tries to zip it up each time!

I find the sizing large also - medium club cut jersey is pretty big, but the medium wind jacket is huge.

Could just be that you're all finally losing that winter fat...

Both are Club-Cut Mediums.

That is a dramatic difference if you ask me.

Ours were the same with the pro city order from Champ-sys. Like everything has been increased by one size for the jerseys. Both race cut medium, new jersey is 1" longer, 1" wider and sleeves are each 1" longer.

Thanks for the photos. I've forwarded them to ChampSys and they are investigating with their production manager. Before we place the next order I'll be getting a few samples sent out for fitting so we can be sure about sizing. Stay tuned.

Oh, and the sleeves were made longer by design to keep up with cycling "fashion". I don't think that will change.

I've confirmed with Champ-Sys that there was a production error on race cut jerseys. They are not the correct size.

If you have a race cut jersey and are not happy with the fit, please let me know by post or pm and I will have it replaced.

You have until the end of the day Friday, June 29th to let me know. Thanks.

But the club-cuts were fine?

Clearly from the picture I posted, the club-cuts have a sizing issue as well. Both are club-cut mediums.

I have a large race cut and its huge around my body. way bigger than my black kit jersey. Could I get a replacement? I am at nationals though and can't give the jersey to anyone until after the 7th of july.

Club cut? Dude, look in the mirror.

I've asked CS to look into the club cut production as well. Watch this space for updates...

My large race cut s/s jersey fits great, if anything it's almost a little short (but I'm pretty tall...) Maybe I got one of the properly sized ones? My large bib shorts, however, definitely fit like a snug medium. Is this a common trend with others?
