Lots of tripleshot heroes out there today. One person that deserves special recognition is Jen, not only for her 1st place in the women's cat 4 but also for her efforts with the women's clinic. I haven't paid much attention to this till today, but it was great to see a field of new riders inspired by the Cat 4 winner!

Another TripleShot hero (there are many as Greg pointed out), is Peter. I know we all already know this, but it was on display today in a dramatic way. A victim of his own success: The cat 3's (like the cat. 4's) took off like bats out of hell and, although many of us faced the 'hook' today, in Peter's case the guys responsible for the indignity were people he introduced to racing, encouraged and/or coached. Congratulations, great results Peter.

What John said... a large credit of my win goes to Peter's selflessness and feedback on what to think about while racing. He was also the catalyst behind the women's clinic.

Credit to Glenowyn and Lister, as well as Amy and Megan of Russ Hayes, needs to be given as the success of the women's clinic was accomplished with teamwork. Thanks for the acknowledgement Greg!

Congrats to the ladies that put themselves on the start line for the citizen race - it was great to see you work hard and have fun after 2 months of commitment and learning.

Not sure if the link will work, but Hugh T posted some video clips of the Bastion crits from his vantage spot up on the boom lift.
