Greetings Fellow Cyclists and Supporters
Sidney Velo is very close to obtaining final approval for our Tuesday night time trials on the Pat Bay/Lochside course. I'm hoping once again you will support what has become a long standing fixture in the local cycling scene.
We need 126 volunteers for the season to be marshals, timekeepers, holders, and post results. Experience is not necessary - we will instruct if required on the evening.
What I would like from you, as soon as possible, is a commitment to work a minimum of 2 shifts from May 1 to August 28, and respectfully ask that you find your own replacement if you can't do your scheduled shift. Please reply to me ian.birch@shaw.ca indicating how many shifts you could work, what position(s) you want to fill (or don't want to fill), when, and what dates are not good for you. If you don't indictate a date, I'll assume you are flexible. I'll send out a schedule once it is finalized and it will be put on our website.
