This morning felt fast. Did anyone record the average speed?

Hey John, I had a 33.85km/hr ave. but that included 20km by myself, most of that being a very slow ride home.

Thanks Luke. I could still feel it in my legs at noon. Seems like it could easily have been >35 km/hr, not including your trip home.

Something we might consider is setting out on a Tues or Fri in a pack of people that plan to race on Sunday, just to find out what average speed we're capable of as a group.

From the looks of it, if the weather persists, you should be getting speeds of 41km out Shelbourne but only 15km and some unusual salt pitting on the left side of your bikes at Ross Bay.
Avg spd = 19kms...
