Thursday morning ride?

Post by John D »

Hey there...anyone up for a Thursday morning ride? Looks like it should be cold but dry.

I'm thinking Cook St Buckies at 6:00am. Up Cook to Blenkinsop and Cordova, around Elk Lake, back along West Saanich, then reverse the usual Sunday route along the waterfront to Fisherman's Wharf Moka House. If there's frost at Elk Lake, then head back along the highway instead and join up at Royal Oak.

Any takers? Norm? Mark?

I hope to come out, although if it's raining (?) I'll go on my own as my fenders are off right now.

Darn, should have checked here. Brenna, Duncan, Jim and I went from Pareto at 6. Out Shelbourne then to Matticks. Some ice though, especially wood bridges on Lochside on the way back.

Kris and I headed out at 6:00, made it out along Blenkinsop, around Elk Lake and back again without incident. One slippery spot climbing the Sayward hill, but otherwise quite a nice morning.
