NEW TRIPLESHOT KIT

All,

I see that there has been lots of great debate about which Kit we should order going forward with lots of thoughts on the preference for each of Blue kit and Black kit. The Executive has met and has had equally involved discussions over the question. As everyone appreciates there is a strong desire to have just a single kit going forward. Frankly we are too good a club filled with great people to ever see any divisive stuff. Having said that I know that all of us also want to be respectful of the proponents (and designers!) of each style. However we need to move forward. Sadly if we choose one of the existing styles (and bear in mind there are actually 4 previous styles) we are sure to have dissatisfied Tripleshotters. Dissatisfied Tripleshotters is not what ANY of us wants.

Accordingly the Executive has made an executive decision. We will not be ordering new kit in either old style. Instead we are going to a graphic designer to assist us in developing a new kit that (we hope) keeps the spirits of each kit going forward. The intent is to hold this next kit style in place for a minimum of three years.

We will not be doing (or letting anyone else do) a new order for either blue or black. Our hope is that the new kit is one everyone is happy with (and isnt hideous when worn in combination with either blue or black!) and lets all of us move on with one kit for our one big happy family!

As a final note I would like to in advance thank everyone for understanding that in this particular situation there was no way to make everyone happy so we are going to move ahead in a way that, at least, doesnt offend anyone. I ask that we all not only support this decision but respect the reasons for moving ahead in this one, new direction.
