The Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL Clincher Wheelset combines the reliability and braking performance of a traditional aluminum rim with the lightweight aerodynamic advantages of a deep-dish carbon wheel. The Maxtal alloy rim bed and braking surface provide a solid platform for your favorite clincher tire, while the 12K carbon fairing cuts through the air to help you achieve maximum speed. Because the carbon isn't a crucial part of the wheel structure, the Cosmic Carbones don't carry a weight limit or minimum tire pressure requirement. These two features make the Cosmic ideal for larger, powerful riders, or just those looking for less hassle from their race wheels.
