Thetis Lake Relay

Post by spearson »

OK who's in for a little team running? 4x5K trail run. Totally non-competitive competition, after the first lap no one knows how anyone is actually placing.

http://www.pih.bc.ca/thetis-lake-relays.html

I can get a team in for free as can other PIH members...

Barton? Glen? Louise? Shawn? John? Mike L? Slow Mike (this is a running race afterall)? Mike A? Quentin? Roland? Any other takers? Let's try to get a bunch of TS teams out for this great kickoff to cross country season.

Let me know your interest (and age).

You're in! Remember this is less of a race and more like organized mayhem.

So THAT's why you coach the Margaret Jenkins school bike club... it all becomes clear.

Sounds like fun but I'll be down in Alabama shopping for some nice, tacky AU souvenirs......

jj12 - you still interested? We've had a cancellation (sickness/fear :P) so a spot is open if you'd like it.

I also think that we should bike to the event. Parking is usually horrendous, and this is a cycling club after all. Meet at the switch bridge at 12:15 should be plenty of time to bike there, lock up, get numbers, and figure out a game plan for victory.

TS team did a spectacular job at the Thetis Lake Relay! 5/37 in our age category (the very competitive Senior Mixed) and 30/123.

Gunner Shaw 10K trail run on the 19th for those without a cross bike, or those riding Beginner!
