Love it ! I don't think you are really criticizing me as Brian Sinclair and I are the only ones in the group consistently following the Rules on Coffee as set out for riders in other posts by Barton and others espresso or machiato , restretto

I think I may be the most guilty coffee snob in the club.

I buy a decaf americano at moka house because the espresso doesn't cut it, then I ride over to discovery for my espresso.
There's exactly three shops in this town that make a decent espresso. Discovery, Fernwood coffee co, and 2% jazz. Habit and Fantastico have tolerable espresso that can hold it's own in a macchiato, but not quite up to par for a straight espresso shot. Every where else in town has crap espresso. 8)

I have seen Dave S in Discovery several times right after a TS ride too.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

My wretched son calls Discovery Coffee my "dealer." <whap>

I prefer to buy their beans and put them through my own Rancilio Silvia here at home, but the company in my kitchen is nowhere near as good as that I'm getting to know at Fisherman's Wharf on Friday mornings.

I very rarely drank coffee before joining this club. Now it's up to three cups a day. I hardly drink anything else! And it's all your fault.
