I was riding with Una to her soccer game this am, and she was suddenly on the ground beside me on Henderson, half way between Lansdowne and Cedar Hill Cross rd. (She's ok and played well too.)
The bike lane was mostly ice for about 200 meters, though the car lane and sidewalk wasn't frozen. North bound side. Also ice in the parking lot for Henderson soccer field.
What's weird is that our thermometer showed five degrees before we left, and Namroc.com shows the dew point at least three degrees below the temperature at that time.
Is it extra cold there, or was there rain just before it froze last night, or just the cycling gods laughing at us?

When Eric and I fell it was at a spot on the road that was shaded by trees. How's that for a micro-climate? It was a sunny that morning, like today, and I'll bet it the road was plus 6 only 50 meters from where we went down.
Isn't there some fancy software that will allow us to race against one another from our respective trainers?
JT (for some reason it only hurts between midnight and 5 am - my shoulder, that is - see you all in a few more weeks)
