weather web site

Post by Lister Farrar »

I was looking for the web site that showed temperatures around Victoria, but it seems to have been deleted from the forum site, and google just isn't as smart as usual this am. Can we get old posts back?

I had the shortest ride ever this am. Our thermometer was showing +2 c, and even our car had only light condensation on it. But four houses down, the cars were fully frosted, and the road as well. I guess the dew point met the air temp about two houses away. Or our house leaks heat more than I thought.

I would still like to know the temp variations around our route though.

As for the forum, on some they "pin" topics to the top of the topic list, for reference. Is that available to this forum? Ride conventions and weather might be two for that.

Nope, unfortunately things aren't going well. Not really sure why, perhaps the cast didn't fit correctly. So I'm in the cast until the start of Feb.

From the latest report: "The fracture involving the left lateral malleolus remains in good position and alignment. No significant
amount of callus formation is present."

The latest x-rays are here in case anybody is interested: http://rabien.com/leg/

Five of us 'hard' men (or rather frosty men) of winter went out this morning. (Norm, Dillan, Pete, Eric and I) We did a modified Friday ride--up Shelbourne to the park and then back along the water. There were some slippery bits, but we took it easy and there were no spills. Eric showed some serious torque at the end.
