Hi,
Is anyone interested in riding Hurricane Ridge sometime this month? I propose either Saturday the 20th or Sunday the 21st for those who are not doing the TT races, however I am flexible if anyone is willing and able to go on a week-day.

He Stephane - I'm interested. Will check with the home office to see if I can get away with this and report back in a few days.

Sounds good. Let me know if you get clearance.

Re: Hurricane Ridge
Looks like i can't do the 20th. Still open for the 21st or a weekday.
Re: Hurricane Ridge
Stephane - still good for the 21st or Wednesday the 24th if that works better. Am travelling down from Desolation Sound on the 20th so will be good to go barring any unforseen delays. Do you know the details re: travel, route, return time etc?

Re: Hurricane Ridge
Hi Geoff,
Sunday the 21st works best for me. I plan on catching the Coho ferry leaving Victoria at 6:10am and catching the 12:45pm ferry on the way back. As for the route, it's basically ride straight off the ferry, through downtown Port Angeles and up Heart of the Hills Rd which leads to Olympic National Park and the Ridge. I think it's $5 US to get into the Park. Last time I went I got a 1-day health insurance policy. It may seem silly for such a short trip, but I know that even minor medical treatment in the US can cost $$$.

Okay, I will aim to be there at 5:30 and we can at least chat on the crossing. Will we have time to do it twice?
If I run into any problem I'll pm you Saturday night.

Hi Geoff,
We may have time to ride twice, but let's talk more on the ferry. See you Sunday.
