Anyone interested in a quick hill climb up the Ridge on BC day? There has been a lot of talk about it. Whos in?

I did some of that talkin'. But I'm out. I'm using up my long weekend shore leave to take Dad to see the Whitecaps on Saturday. Hopefully can make it later August or September.

Chris, if we only do one climb you would be home on the mid day ferry, gets us back by 1:30ish.
But if you man up and decide to get in your 10,000 feet in 75k by going up twice the next ferry is around 5ish.

Dave- home office approval confirmed. Is it possible/feasible to ride it twice and still make the 12:45 ferry? Not familiar with the stats on this ride but sounds like 17 miles, 5240 feet vertical. We'd have about 4.5 hours so I imagine it's pretty tight or impossible.

Keen to ride twice if anyone else is but don't really want to wait to catch the 5 ferry back.

Chris, don't think I could do it twice and still get the mid day return ferry.
I don't want to be the guy that changes the plan at the last minute but.... how about going on Saturday instead, would that fit your schedule?

would love to join but will be away. A few folks are going to ride August 6th leaving on the 0610 ferry. Would consider riding back up

Dave- ack, I'm now a miss for the Ridge ride this long week-end- juggling social/work/training stuff so have to postpone this. Shame- forecast looks good. This would make a great Indian Summer ride in Sept though...I'll re-post then to see if any interest.
