Tour De l'Abitibi
Stage 1 shows Adam in 37th finishing 18" down in the main pack of about 100. Kudos Adam show them whos the Boss!
Re: Tour De l'Abitibi
Pretty easy 85km before we got into the 5 laps of the finishing circuit, then it got hard.
Kiwis and kazahks are both pretty strong but ium feeling pretty comfortable and hoping for a better result today.

Sweet. Kill it, man. I didn't really know where Abitibi was 'til now. I'm going to be in Roberval this weekend and was hoping it was close, but it's about 600 km away.

Re: Tour De l'Abitibi
and it gets better. In the 7th and final stage Adam was 4th! So for the week he had 2 x top ten (8th & 4th) finishes; came 16th in the Sprints Competition and finished up 34th overall 1’41” down. One of the things I find most interesting is that his 2 best finishes were the last 2 stages. I think that fact alone bodes well for the future.
Kudos Adam.

Re: Tour De l'Abitibi
The last stage was by far my best not just by the result but throughout the whole stage.
Its very different riding in a 130 man pack, just getting to the front is an effort and staying there is another story. in the last stage i really got how to move up through the middle of the pack rather than on the outside, just by moving through gaps and filling holes and holding your position against other trying to take it. The goal was to leadout team leader Emile Jean for the win and the time bonnus.
I was riding at the front of the pack the whole race and with three laps of the circuit remaining i went to find Emile. Turned out he was caught way far back and there was no way he was moving up in the next three laps. So the other leadout man and i made the choice that he would lead me out.
On the last lap he moved me up and i hoped from him to the team France train, coming out of the final corner i sprinted as hard as i could and managed 2nd, unfortunately a brake of 2 had finsihed 4 seconds ahead of the pack and i missed out on the podium.
with one more stage i really think i could have done another good result.
