Next gear order

Post by conor »

Hi there, link me in when you do another gear order. I'd love a long sleeve jersey in small (I guess??) so let me know and I'll include the cost of getting you to send it to me in Aus!

Thanks,
Conor

We discussed the options this morning, but Conor is looking for the race kit, of which there is none in stock. Don't worry Conor - we've exported before. We'll get you a jersey once an order goes in.

Are you sure you want a small?

These are "cycling" sizes, and the small is very small, I only know a couple people who fit it, and they weigh under 150 lbs. Check out here http://champ-sys.ca/custom/cycling/size-chart

You need to figure out your size, and whether you want the race cut (slimmer) or club cut.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Dude, Conor's not a dude. I think a small might be right.

Any thoughts on another race kit order Roland/Josh?

With track now on the agenda, provincial TTs in August, and cross on the horizon - I'm feeling the need for a skinsuit or two!!

What was that line you had Peter? 10lbs of sausage in a 5lb bag?
@#$& this 'work' stuff, I think I'll just go pro...

Working on it. Prepare yourselves - there will be only one kit ordered, likely the black kit. Sorry but the technical demands of a two-colour order outweigh the available volunteer time to accommodate this.

Geoff,

I can put in some volunteer time on this if required. Let me know if there is anything I can help out with.

Geoff;

I'd be willing to help out, too, in the interest of our being able to offer both the race-kit black and the traditional baby-blue option. What with all the new TS members of late I think we can anticipate a demand for both kits.

In other news, after a recent "What Not to Wear" fashion consultation with Eric S. and Brian E., I've shelved my idea for a new pin-striped Tripleshot Double-Wide kit. :P

We need a better way to handle orders and collect payment. I did write up a quick and dirty web app that used paypal that we used for the last few orders. It worked ok, but there was confusion and people always ended up ordering stuff they didn't mean to.

If somebody wants to come up with a better / simpler system and implement it, I'm more than happy to pass on the torch. We could go back to the old system where everybody just posted their order in a thread and then it was somebodies job to compile the order. Or a shared google spreadsheet would work.

I had grand visions for my web app order system, but I just don't have time to work on it anymore. If we want to do the same old thing for the next few orders it can limp along, otherwise we'll need a new system.

First of all Roland, thanks for doing this and everything else you do for the club, including handling tents, setting up races at Western Speedway, coaching kids and still finding the time to wave to the rest of us from the top of the Bastion Square podium.

I would like to get an order going as we are getting lots of requests. If we order now it will be September when the gear gets here. If you could re-establish the race kit order form last used that would be great. I will handle the other logistics.
