Victoria Youth Triathlon Volunteers Needed Sunday June 12, 2011.

The 25th Annual Victoria Youth Triathlon (VYT) is happening Sunday June 12, 2011 on the grounds of the University of Victoria, in and around the McKinnon Building (gym & pool).

The race needs volunteer support to happen. Your time commitment would be Sunday June 12 from 6:30/6:45 AM to 2 PM, a few limited spots are open before race day. The VYT is open to youth 6-17 years old and has been the venue for many of our region’s elite and age group triathletes to try their first race.

We have openings for: transition support; body marking; bike counters; bike route marshals; run marshals; course set up; course tear down; food/volunteer tent, and bike check (mid week prior to race day at Riders Cycles). Race day food & beverages will be available for all volunteers.
