Speedway Tomorrow @ 6:00 : Racers wanted

Just a reminder we are racing at Western Speedway again tomorrow. Signon starts at 6:00, racing whenever sign-on is done.

Open to new racers, old racers, juniors, seniors. Anybody that finishes behind mid pack in VCL B, VCL C racers. Masters racers who hate Caleb Pike & Newton Heights. Everybody else is welcome to show up and lend a hand.

Or come out if you just want to blast around a race track on your bike.

I think 5:15 is what Lister did last week and it worked ok. I can get most of the setup done no prob, we mainly need help with coaching and results.

5:15 was a little late for an easy ride to the 6:00 start, but should be ok for the new 6:20 start. I'll be riding out, so are Brenna and Jim Pauly.

Thought I post here instead of in the Exec. mtg thread, but it relates to something mentioned there. I understand that the goal of the speedway events is to expose pepople to real racing in a safe and less competitive environment (and from the sounds of things it's going very well), but if there's an issue with attendance (especially as people graduate to VCL races), why not add a few kids events? That Tim Bits challenge downtown is fantastic - two of those (for example) at the speedway might be a lot of fun.
