And it's going to keep happening until members like us make it impossible for the elected leaders to do this (eg. hide the evidence). They are only two levels above us. Cycling BC is run by a UCI commissaire who gets his international race assignments from the UCI, so he has little incentive to demand the CCA censure the UCI. There are only 12 voting entities in the CCA. Cycling Bc could round up a majority relatively easily to demand action of the CCA vis the UCI. An activist CCA president could round up a majority of the voting UCI members cuz most of them are hurt by the uCI doping policies.
On a personal level, we all know a few members of cycling bc. We could all just email and phone, and ask them to do the same. Or turn up at the cbc agm and vote for a resolution.
The bottom line is they want to get elected, and if the tide of the voters is flowing toward real anti-doping policy, they will go that way.
