Wow! The world is moving pretty fast first I made it to the bottom of the Triple Shot Membership list, than the nomination got accepted and somebody set up face book account for me. I better run away to Bamfield for a couple of days.

I voted for Craig Gillet (second choice) next as he's coordinating the medical for the Tour de Victoria....and a great guy!

Thanks for all of your support it has been a really nice to be able to receive it. I think I owe you all a round of drinks of Spinnakers if we can find a time when you all can make it out.

I take back some of the grumbling I have done in the past. Triple Shot Members are the most supportive group I have been around. Continue getting people riding at 6am in the morning, longer and harder than they thought they could and participating in races when they only met to volunteer. It is amazing thing to see people fall in love with cycling

BC Bike Race is having a competition, the Kazlaw Community Mountain Biking Award, where a lucky person or two will win an entry into this $2000 race.

Vote for Glen!

Glenowyn Carlson is a mountain bike giver - as in she gives a huge amount to the sport; coaching, introducing newbs, befriending everyone and just making sure she is there at EVERY race with in 300 km. She loves mountain biking and mountain bikers even more than you do. She needs to win this because BCBR is the only local race she has not done, and simply for lack of funds. No gimmicks, or crazy stories, not someone who applies for the free spot in every big race with the same letter. Glen is the real deal. BCBR will be an even better race if Glen is riding it.

Last Wednesday BC Bike Race sent out a poll of how the votes were going. Glen was close to sixth place with almost 150 votes. Joel Pelanuck is in first with 300 votes and Craig Gillet is in second with just over 200 votes.
