biggest issue facing the club.....

Post by Josh.E »

We had what, 25 people out this morning? Only 10 or so were at coffee. Only TWO showed up from the B ride, which had to be at least 15 strong. We had to cancel 10 americanos.

This is entirely unacceptable. Lister was suggesting implementing mandatory coffee attendance taking if this keeps up.

Gee. That is so wrong. It really cheats those of us who ride straight from home to coffee of the whole "group ride" experience. :P

We need Peter back. Everything falls apart when he's gone.

We need to develop and implement an official TS Shaming Ceremony for coffee no-shows.

I'd feel bad about letting down the club this morning if it weren't for having had four(!) flats since yesterday, the last in a brand new Conti "Hardshell". Hardshell my butt. Ended up throwing in the towel and cabbing it home from Henderson after braking my tire lever on flat number four! I thought flats only came in threes?

I'm forwarding this thread to both my employer and wife to see if I can begin to frequent coffee more often.

Perhaps try selling it as a "professional development" expense....that way you can buy the coffee every week and write it off on taxes.
