Wanted: compact crank
I got a deal on a used 51 cm cross bike on used victoria, that Brenna might use. But it probably should have a compact crank for 'cross and winter training. Anyone got a used one? Looking for 34 or 36 inner ring, 46, 48 or 50 outer, but will take any compact crank. 165 or 170 mm ok.

Hey Lister
I have a Truvativ 48/39 172.5 crank with standard English Thread BB which needs a home, I just have to confirm my other cranks will fit the bike I am yanking this off of.
Would this work?

Re: Wanted: compact crank
Thanks Colin. It has a 170mm 39 53 on it now, and an 8 speed sti derailleur and casette, so a wide range casette will have big gaps. I ws thinking a 34 or 36 would give her a gear a couple lower than the 39, without going to a huge casette. Not sure of her current cranks, but I would think she'd ride 165mm too, maybe 170 mm max. But thanks anyway!
