uvic did a good job keeping ring road clear. It was nice to ride outside after being off since last Monday. 12 laps is a good way to start the week.

Good for you Dave. Sufferfest was good, but it's not really holding off cabin fever the way I'd prefer. Only lack of character prevented me coming today.
I did ride downtown this am. Slushy, so climbing Rockland was a bit slippery for the back wheel, but no steering issues. Should be fine in a day or so.

Anyone who can swing it, get out there right now!!
I decided to get up and start working early this morning, and save my workout time for later. Paid off for me with a beautiful sunshiney ride around the water from downtown to arbutus, then back around the water to downtown. I had a tailwind most of the way out, and on the way back instead of having to deal with a headwind, I got passed by a bus just past the oak bay marina, and was able to motor pace it to king george, then catch it again on the descent and continue on motorpacing all the way to beacon hill park. I must have been going 50+ up clover point. Just got back now.

I woke up at 5:15 and saw an inch of snow in my neck of the woods and decided to go back to bed. Wish I had driven out and done a few laps!

For going back to bed? I think you have bragging points a liitle backwards. Otherwise, I'd be winning!leftcoaster wrote:must be a few bragging points somewhere............
