Hey all - it's been a while - an update

Hope all has been good with the Gravel group here at Tripleshot. I've not had the chance to get out for a ride with y'all since the spring. No excuses other than life has been extremely busy, so all my riding has been of the spontaneous variety rather than the fun group rides. Decided on a career ch...

Re: Olympic Discovery Trail - September 28-29

Very interested in joining you for this ride. Its been too long since I've ridden with the Tripleshot crew. Trying to scare myself up someone to share a room and if I can I will likely come along.

Re: Tires for summer

I've had good luck with Donnelly MSO tubeless. I've got a set of 40mm on the gravel bike. Offroad, they provide excellent traction. I use Orange Seal and don't find that they lose air once seated on the rims. I commute on them daily and have found they stand up very well. Decent roll on pavement. Th...

Would I be able to meet you at the Switch Bridge on the Goose? 8ish? I have to zip out and grab my CX bike from the lockup at work.

Any weekend 9th/10th rides planned?

Finally have my CX bike back and I'm not in Toronto. Would be fun to try some snowy riding on the trails... Any takers?

Re: Sunday, January 27

Hope it was a good ride. I'm still without my CX bike as I await a replacement derailleur hanger. I think they dispatched it via canoe from China.

Island Hospice - Cycle of Life Tour

Island Hospice is running the "Cycle of Life Tour" again this year, July 20/21. This will be the 3rd year I am participating. If you've not done it, its a fantastic event. It's a fully supported tour (not a race) that basically follows the "3 Ferries" route up the Peninsula, over...

Re: Sunday Jan 13 - Glendale, Work, Thetis, Francis King Loop

Went back and looked at the map and realized that Corry Road is along the fast fun section of Ross-Durrance. Having too much fun to take notice! Hanger wouldn't have fit anyhow. Fortunately, I was able to get a new hanger on order and it's on it's way so hopefully back in the saddle for next weekend...

Good riding with you John.

Great loop but unfortunately the Hector Connector BlackBerry bushes are stronger than my derailleur hanger. Had to call for backup to pick me up at PISE. Still got 50kms in of a great ride.

Ok sounds good. Looks like the others dropped off today so it's just me. I'm riding from Cadboro Bay so can also meet at Lochside/Blenkinsop around 845. Either way see you there.

Sunday Jan 13 - Glendale, Work, Thetis, Francis King Loop

Hey all, Headed out with a small group on Sunday morning to do the loop below: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/743399 Because a few are coming from up the peninsula, plan is to meet in the parking lot at the Tech Park adjacent to the Glendale trail with an estimated departure around 915ish. Loop is...
