Re: GIFs vs Word count
James: I’ve been trying to gracefully exit this conversation but you unrelentingly keep coming back on the tangential subjects of GIFs and personal slights. Your point on GIFs is well taken. Your point on personal slights is totally off-base. To me, it suggests an individual with an exaggerated view...

I’m not avoiding you at coffee. We ride in different circles and I very rarely see you at coffee, and then only at a distance. Next time, swing by with your cuppa. I enjoy your company.

James:
I get that you have a lot to say on a lot of issues that are near and dear to yourself, and all the more power to you for it. What I don’t get is why you feel so threatened by a little gentle ribbing. You would never have survived growing up with my six siblings.

Rock'n the word count
James, add another 3000 to your current 7000 words on this subject and you'll be in "novella" territory.

Re: Should the Tripleshot forum be taken private?
Rolf, just following up James's post. I voted "no", but it's a soft no. Personally, I think the Board is trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. That said, I have my trust in you and the Board and I'm sure we'll all be happy with whatever. All I would ask is that you not put us in a ...

Re: Should the Tripleshot forum be taken private?
With Spond so entrenched as it is, I doubt that the club membership is now going to go in significant numbers to the Forum. Why not leave things as they are now and see how things play out. Throwing up barriers to the Forum is not helpful to get buy-in, at least in my humble, but obviously correct, ...

Re: Weekly cx/gravel routes (solo/bubble) for month of April
Looks and sounds great Claire - thx. And yes, with this weather - let's hit it! I'd like to propose a Wednesday social (non-TS-sanctioned ... but if it helps we could organize it in Spond) ride of this one ... I'll adjust my schedule to the group's intentions for start time ... any takers? I though...

Re: Mark your calendars!
I’d love to think we could get an Olympic Discovery Trail weekend in late September, too. 8) I heard COTR might start a little later in sept this year. How about the weekend after labour day? What’s the limiting factor? The accomodation availability? A day trip is doable but it is much more fun to ...
