Re: Yes there IS a ride on Thurdays

Imagine my surprise this morning when over 200 members accepted Peter's invitation to the Thursday Team TT. Most impressive was the member who finally arrived here from central Canada having ridden for two weeks just to have the pleasure, and honour, to ride with Peter. As if that was not enough, al...

Re: Yes there IS a ride on Thurdays

I just wanted to send out a (very) small thank you for supporting my Individual Time Trial this morning. I am particularly thinking of Peter who started this thread. I appreciate how hard you squeezed your pillows encouraging me to go faster. It really warmed my little heart….. I wish that I had rem...

Re: 55plus Games

This sounds like great fun indeed. If a large contingent is going I would love to join for the ride to and from Vernon at least. After looking at the results page I realize that competing against the likes of Joe, and randonneurs Mike Hagen and Craig Premack is too much for me though. By the way, I ...

Barton and I looked for you on Munns road. Eventually we gave up. Glad you had a nice ride.

That was a wonderful ride for me. Tailwind all the way. Thank you Barton, Mark C, Mark F. John, Todd and Norm for all your help and encouragement.

Re: Goldstream Heights Saturday Aug 27

I am anxiously looking forward to Barton's ride on Saturday. Data from Strava shows that I am in the 5th percentile (or lower) on the little hills around the city. Given this, it would be great if other members join the ride because I am not sure that I can manage without your help and encouragement...

Re: Big Loop Ride - Sunday 17th July 2016

Tripleshot Big Loop Ride (BLR) Details of the Big Loop Ride are listed below. The BLR is a Tripleshot no-drop supported group ride. To join the ride you must be a Tripleshot member. There will probably be two groups – a fast and not-so-fast. If any time along the BLR route a rider decides to leave ...

Re: Coffee loyalties

Kudos to Clair for broaching this somewhag sensitive topic and to Craig for trying to improve our experience at cf. My vote is for seeking out a different coffee stop. Cf is my least favourite place to spend money on coffee based solely on my interaction with their staff. I am also quite disappointe...

Re: Wanna know who's paid their club membership?

Dear Strava Admins, While I understand the logic to remove non members from the Tripleshot Strava group, you may not understand the dramatic impact your decision has had on my stature in the club. You see, I have worked hard for several months now to advance in the Strava standings for the club and ...

Re: Thank-you to Mikael & Mandy

I am blushing from these accolades. I have learned that Tripleshot group rides stop and members offer assistance whenever there is a need. I have experienced this myself many times. Just a few weeks ago my chain broke after Ash hill and Jim P. fixed it for me in the dark for example. A better exampl...

Re: 2015 Marin Stelvio Ultegra Di2

Hi Mark, I am sorry for not following up on this. I went to look at the bike and it is a beautiful bike in fantastic shape. Dave worked with me for quite some time and concluded that if I really insisted he would be able to make the bike work for me although it would be best if I waited until I grew...

Re: 2015 Marin Stelvio Ultegra Di2

Hi Dave,
I am interested in your bike(although I worry a little about losing another excuse for riding so slow). May I take a look at it to see if it would fit me please?
cheers

Re: Monday and Wednesday rides

I rode parts of the planned route a few Monday mornings this spring. It is a great route. Having said that, I was surprised by how much traffic there was on Prospect lake road early in the morning and how fast they drove on that narrow windy road. Maybe that was just my bad luck. Pavement was in goo...

Re: 200k - Saturday 12th March

I am very much looking forward to this. Are you aiming for a "C-Group Average Speed: 26-28 km/h" including the times when we will have to stop at the controls? That will make it hard for me but I will do my best if I may join you.... Mikael PS. are you both planning on the regular Sunday &...

Re: Lost rear light after King George

If the light is not of use to either of you it may still be useful for somebody at Our Place. Rather than throwing it out, I wonder if you might consider donating it when the other bike stuff is being collected?
