Re: Sunday CX - the last ride before the snow?

Ron, is 8 more reasonable? Or 815? Just don't want you guys waiting for us.

As for JT's psyche, Sunday is a day of rest, even for psychologists  No idea what emoji I just added since I don't have my reading glasses on but hope it fits!

Re: Sunday CX - the last ride before the snow?

JT, your route is exactly what I had in mind. I hadn't thought about going up and around Elk Lake was going to just take Pipeline into Beaver and across West Saanich but would be open to it. Geoff, normally I'm all for a peninsula CX ride but that is going to be most of Kip's commute (he's working a...

Ron, if you wanna join us feel free to start at SBX at 730 and head up this way. We could meet you on Lochside or somewhere....Also happy to wait for any other ideas that we might join in on. Just throwing out our back up plan.

Sunday CX - the last ride before the snow?

Anyone planning a Sunday ride for tmrw? I'll be out and this time will be bringing BFF's hubby, riding Greg's bike. If there isn't a group going out we'll probably do the kind of regular-ish Thetis loop - Camosun trails to Glendale - Logan Park - Calvert - trail from Prospect to Munn's - Panhandle t...

Re: Friday Jan 10 - self-serving ride

Glad there are others who will brave the potentially nasty weather tomorrow morning. I'm not likely to have time to post a route (sorry!) but the one I've suggested is well-known and I'm sure we'll figure out the Ten Mile part and have fun doing it!

Bring on the snow!

Friday Jan 10 - self-serving ride

I finally have a chance to get on my bike this week (at least until my kids' alarms go off) and I'm bringing my BFF who is here for 6 months and wants to get into cyclocross. She'll be riding my old MTB. I may also bring her other half, depending on their kids' morning schedule. My other half has a ...

Shot in the dark - bikes to borrow

I have friends in town for the next 6 months who would love to do some riding with us. They are looking to get set up with some bikes and are exploring various options. They just didn't have enough room to bring them on the plane with their two kids, dog, kids' hockey gear and 6 months worth of clot...

Re: Where's Warburton? - Silly Solstice Ride (Cross Edition)

What a great Christmas Eve morning! Geoff’s impromptu dual slalom, jared’s Forest crawl and fence hop, cold and windy sunrise toasts - I am so truly thankful for the folks in this club.

Re: The Other Sunday Cross Ride

Geoff, would this be a SB at 750 kind of meet up? I am a tentative yes and Greg may join for part since the kiddos will be home alone. JT - an untimely work deadline only seconds before Christmas? WhoTH do you work for man? Satan himself? There is a chance G and I will be doing something shorter if ...

Aw JT wish I could help out but work calls. I love a ride that ends at Pure Vanilla! Enjoy your ride and your dentist apt. I honestly love them. When else can I lie down and close my eyes for an hour during the daytime???

Not cycling - can we borrow a ski bag?

We are flying to Calgary over Christmas and we can't find my ski bag. What we really need is a double ski bag that'll fit my skis and at least one child's pair. Does anyone have a ski bag that fits this description that they'd be willing to lend from Dec. 26-Jan 1? I really don't want to have to buy...

Re: Group splitting?

These are all great ideas but let's remember our routes  Get it? <insert silly gif of choice here> I cannot claim to be of original TSCX DNA but I've been a pretty regular TSCXer since 2016. So I'm wondering if there is an "it depends" option for the voting poll. I remember a time wh...

Re: Friday, December 13 - Triskaidekaphobia Bedamned!

G and I will be there Rolf. I don't think we have time to plot a route tonight but I'm sure we can all throw together a route tomorrow morning. Kinda like in the good ol' days

I have it on good authority as certain AP is gonna be there too...so we've got at least 5 so far....
