Re: Sunday, Longer

Greg and I are going to arm wrestle to see who gets to go on this ride. After also being off the bike, it sounds GREAT and the change of scenery is also inspiring!

What time do you think you'd be passing by the switch bridge? Whoever wins will likely be meeting you there.

Still frickin' sicker than sick. But maybe the hubby will be interested....will pass it on when he gets home from some silly space movie.

Love the gentlemanly start time.

Re: Confirm Christmas Eve Route?

Thanks, I did read that post but wasn't sure if Bleinkinsop would be included (I know it sometimes isn't on Fridays in bad weather) and it will affect my timing to meet up enroute. Also wondering about the Uvic/box portion, since that is another option for me to join up.

Re: Festive 500: a Plan

Still trying to work out ride-joining locations from our new location (near the ferndale popper). I'm hoping to do the Xmas Eve ride and wondering what time y'all expect to make it to the top of Ash Hill?

Think I'll sleep in a bit and meet up there.

TIA

Re: Lights!

Hi Andrew,

I think the short battery life of mine might have been operator error since it worked fine the next two times Greg or I used it. But the strap that holds the battery to the frame did break after two usages. Tried it in a bento box the other day and it seemed to work.

Re: It's icy out there, folks

Went out for a run at 730 and was slippin' and slidin' and thinking of you guys. I'm sorry to hear about the crashes! Now that I have a) 2 functional wheels, and b) family in town to watch kids in the early morning hours, this weather better not persist and ruin my cycling plans! Unless, that is, it...

The sound of Claire's pecan shortbread is almost reason enough to do it though....

Re: Winter Solstice 100, Sunday Dec 20

Not meaning to be a scrooge on the WS 100, but will there be a regular Sunday ride? After being wheel-less for a month, I can finally ride again and not sure I fancy an endless criterium around BHP for my first ride back. If not, I may join for a few miles or 10, as part of my own ride. Non-solstice...

Re: 2015 Xmas Party Potluck sign up

Greg and I would like to join although we are still newbie Tripleshotters (still working on making that official), and particularly as we have grandparents in town (woo hoo!). But we are obliged to attend the lighted truck parade first so I'm not sure what time we will arrive. Does anyone know the t...

Greg is 6'1". Crushed the threshold. For the record. Currently nursing some nasty road rash so I had to stand up for him.

Re: This Saturday, 6am ride

Greg wants to know what the cut off is for "tall." Seeing as he only made "fairly tall."

Re: Sunday Nov 1

I'll probably join as well, unless the weather is completely hideous. I'm assuming this is replacing the regular Sunday at 730 ride? Or is that one going as well?
