agree with Alan, Conti 4000S is a great tire for everything. Perhaps more important though is to drop tire pressure in fall/winter. I'd recommend 80-85psi for your size.

Construction on Mt. Doug X has a polished metal plate currently installed across both lanes. If tomorrow is a wet one use high caution through that area. The plate is about half way down the hill from Cedar Hill to the s-bend.

I haven't been a Tripleshot member long but have quickly come to love the early morning riding. Ripping around our waterfront in the dark as the sun rises and the day begins is pretty badass.
