Re: Attention all cross dressers
Crossers do more than have frivolous homoerotic discussions via Gif. We often have highly intellectual debates of global significance, such as, how does one actually pronounce "Gif"? For the record, it's a soft G https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/jms-s3-cx-rel-p-pmc4/assets/jif/images/pr...

Re: Tuesday corner of Cedar Hill X Rd and Codboro Bay Rd
Interesting discussion. Cyclists, including myself, have no problem criticizing drivers that pass to close or do other stupid crap because they want to get where they are going 30 seconds sooner. Yet here is a discussion about how to "safely" run a stop sign because what, we want to get to...

Cycling etiquette
To the fellow Tripleshotter who was doing what appeared to be intervals on Ferndale Ave on Tuesday night. When you shoulder check and see a car approaching you from behind, the appropriate course of action is to move to the right and give the car opportunity to pass. Instead, you chose to ignore the...

Re: Masters racing and Bob Cameron Crit
Citizen licenses never say Masters on them, so it's the 3 / 4 race for me. I also think the dangerousness of Cat 4 is highly exaggerated. I've done it many times and it's fine, even on the old Bastion Square course which was much more dangerous. IMHO, If you have a lot of racing experience and are ...

These are also easy to switch out. Add a flap and you're good to go.

Re: Warmer Sunday Ride
Beautiful day for a ride. Until I got a flat and then put my back out bending down to remove the wheel. Thanks to the group for the help with the flat repair and Alan for the boot. I managed to make it home under my own power thus avoiding the indignity of calling for a ride. Back is not too bad now...

Re: Silly Summer Solstice
I only did 35 or laps this morning, but it quickly became apparent that people skipped item 1 on Simon's list, so here is a reminder. When a car is stopped at the yield sign it is a good indication that they are waiting until it is clear to proceed. For some reason, those at the front of the group d...

Volunteer Opportunities
TripleShot is sponsoring a number of events in the next few months, but these events can't happen without you. So polish up that volunteer spirit and give back to the club that provides you so much joy throughout the year. Just open up the Volunteer Spreadsheet and type in your name. It's that easy!

Re: Death in the family/Wanted--Cross/Winter bike
I have a friend who had a similar issue (assuming it is an aluminium frame)
He had it repaired by Dave at Gas Gas Pacific (gasgaspacific@telus.net) in Metchosin.
Cost about $50 which would definitely keep you out of trouble at home.

Re: The Big Loop Ride - July 20th
Just a quick thank you to the group for the card and the token of gratitude. It was unexpected but very much appreciated. The loop is a great motorcycle route, so being able to ride it while helping out a bunch of crazy people made for a great day. Hopefully I can join the madness next year. Al
