Re: For the strava types among us

Wow. http://velonews.competitor.com/2012/06/news/family-sues-strava-over-descending-death_224889 Not sure how Strava can be liable for an accident. Perhaps there are some lawyer types (you know who you are) who can enlighten us further. Edit: Related post from the Inner Ring - http://inrng.com/2012/...

Re: Mill Bay Masters June 10th

I too decided to decided to go for the 2 hours of suffering option. Like Jim, I too got shot out of the 40's pack fairly quickly. The first 3km was a series of climbs. Rather than sitting on the back like I should have, I found myself in the rotation and on the front at the start of the last hill be...

Re: Neild Rd HC

Neild road won't seem so bad after reading this:

Re: Neild Rd HC

The hill climbs are time trials and are run similar to the Sidney TT. The sign up order determine your start position and they send you off in 1 minute intervals. The Neild Road course is longer (about 2.5km) and steeper than the observatory, so a full helping of pain pie is likely on the menu. As f...

Sidney TT - June 5

Anyone going?

Remember it's VCL this week. If last time was any indication, it will be busy (I showed up at 6:30 and got start position 51, so I'm planning to be there a lot earlier)

And don't forget your shoes!

I am truly impressed that you completed a ride of such magnitude. I'm even more impressed that you managed to find 5 other crazies to do it with!

Nicely done.

Re: WANTED aero bars for Dallas TT

I've got a set of Vision TT aerobars (fits 31.8 bars) you can use.

Lister currently has them, so you'll have to get in touch with him to make arrangements for pick up.

Found: Sunglasses

A pair of Ryders sunglasses was found on the road at the bottom of Veteran Memorial Parkway near the Latoria intersection.

If you think they are yours or someone you know, pm me to make arrangements to get them back.

Re: Potential C race at Latoria??

For those intending to drive out, note that the highway is currently closed at Thetis Lake. Apparently a septic truck dumped its load.

According to DriveBC, the estimated time of opening is 5pm.

In and riding out.

I believe meeting at the switch bridge at 5:15pm is the norm for races with a 6:30pm start.

Latoria - April 18

Who's in?

I am leaning toward racing, but not sure if I am riding or driving.

5:15 at switch bridge for those riding out?
