Re: Has anybody cycled the Olympic Peninsula?
I went from Port Angeles to Port Townsend, over to Anacortes, then to San Juan Island and used that as a base to explore the islands with ferry service. I can second the statement that the 101 is fine to ride. What I found is that the Olympic Discovery trail is actually frustrating to ride - there a...

Re: Tuesday B1 crash
Hi Adam,
Thanks for grabbing my bike, is there any chance you could drop it off at Oak Bay Bikes? I'm going to have a hard time getting over that part of town for the next while sadly![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
Let me know! Also, sending you a PM with my cell number.
Thanks,
Marc

Re: Tuesday B1 crash
Thank you all for your well wishes - very kind! As an "update" - turns out that both of my breaks were both quite bad, and both require surgery to ensure there's no loss of mobility. I just had my hand surgery today to insert pins which will come out in 2-3 weeks. My shoulder has yet to be...

Re: Tuesday B1 crash
Feeling ok, either broke or fractured my shoulder and left thumb. Scary though, could have been way worse.
Thanks to everyone for taking care of us broken folks after the fact![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Sprinting in the dark, dark, dark, dark, dark....
Subectively, I think there's a higher population of deer this year compared to previous years. I also think that the woods around UVic likely have a higher density of deer than other points around the Henderson loop. Maybe a happy middle ground instead of banning the sprints is to pick a different e...

Gofundme for Geoff Homer
Hi Folks, Some of you might know Geoff Homer - he's been a mainstay on the Tripleshot A rides for I'm sure a long while, but especially this year. If you don't know him, but having ridden A - he's the guy that constantly attacks off the front and makes things "interesting." Aside from that...

Re: Bridging the gap to As
Any tips for the art of sitting in? I found today that sometimes sitting in was almost harder because there were frequently gaps that'd open up. Aside from those moments though... Even though the pace is a lot higher, the difference in between B1 and sitting in at the back of the A ride isn't as big...
