Re: Can hurricane ridge be done in under 2 hrs?
Hi Rob,
I've gone with a few others in late May and we had sleet near the top despite much warmer temperatures in Victoria. I'd follow Martins suggestion for June or even better July 1st group ride.

So cool to see a TS jersey and a familiar face halfway around the world. Beautiful terrain and great company to share the adventure with. Thanks for posting.

Re: Gravel bike shopping-bot
Hi Claire, There are a ton of options out there but the most important will be fit and comfort. I've been looking for a new bike (not there yet, darn kids) and found this at MEC just a few months back. I like that even the shifters are specified as short reach size small or lower down to xx-small (v...

I would love to participate if you still have a ride available. Just curious what deep and scary woods Rolf has planned.

I would feel a little bad but it was just too nice this afternoon for my one ride of the day. Friday “rain” cheque?

Thanks John. I was equally impressed by your climbing prowess after dropping everyone going up Willis Point Rd. Love the photos Rolf. It really captures the majestic nature of the woods, especially with the light filtering through the trees. Looking forward to the next adventure.

Sounds like a plan. I should be good for most of if not all. Maybe even time for a quick coffee but definitely will stay for the food. See you guys tomorrow.

Re: Sunday, September 2
How about a Royal Roads romp? I’ve gone to school there but sadly never checked out the trails. Meet either at the Fairfield SB or switch bridge to save time. I have a few hours starting from 630am.
