Re: Wanted - Kid Bikes
I think you need a 26 in wheel Giant (TCX Espoir 26). That’s what I got Ella last month. 24 will be too small for Ginger and I’m sure Oscar can ride anything that his sister has! We paid $699 from local Giant store on Broard Street. 1x8, disc brakes. I ordered some 26 in slicks for road riding to sa...

Lost Spare Tubular and Co2 inflator
I lost a spare Tubular tire and Co2 inflator in Sunday Solo ride. And broke a shifter cable. Terrible ride. I should have got up earlier with the Sunday Social Ride.

WANTED- Quill stem. 60-80mm 26.0 22.2
I'm building up a bike for a friend to get him into riding. It's nice Giant OCR1 that has a quill stem but it's a bit long at 120mm. I'm after one with a shorter reach. 60-80mm would be perfect. 22.2 steerer and 26.0 mm handlebar dia.

Re: Tire spontaneously jumping off wheel?
Buy some continental Grand Prix 4000 25mm. They a more comfortable and a lot of the pros are riding 25 mm tires with no difference in roll resistance. Plus the conti tires are hard to get on so having them spontaneously bulge like the schwalbe will be next to impossible. One reason why the tire may ...

Re: Can anyone explain the physics of Hesjedal's bike...
My theory is that he fell because the road was super slippery. The road surface is dry but polished. If you watch the clip the finishing frame shows the sun reflecting of what looks like a polished pebbly surface. Thats why he falls! Why the bike appears to move after it seems to stop is because the...

Re: Tour de Victoria
Thanks Jeff for pulling me along from Elk lake to the top of Ash. I think I went too hard at the start and probably didn't have enough to drink. At Esq Lagoon I looked down to see the Garmin tell me I was averaging 35.5 kmh. Too fast for this little black duck. My legs almost ceased up that killer i...
