Lightly used & slightly marked sz. 37/38 neoprene overshoes. Bought for the kids, but they had the gall to grow a size.

I always wondered what my wake would look like...
If you haven't already seen this floating around, check out this video on cycling aerodynamics (~5 min).
The reduction in drag is much higher when crouching on the top tube then I would have guessed!

Heads-up: Atkins road work
There is some poorly marked road work on Atkins, both directions just near the level crossing on the boundary of Langford. The only marking is the red spray-painted edges. The descending lane is the worst part, with the attached photo taken looking towards Langford right after the tracks; slow down ...

Re: TS Track Day @ the Velodrome, Saturday, May 13th, 2017
I had a few questions, and in case I'm not the only one, I thought I'd post to share: * My son is 8 and doesn't have shoes or pedals (yet). Is it possible to borrow at the Velodrome? Or from someone within the club with appropriately small size shoes? He's size 2. * Is the fee only required for memb...

Lugged frame repair/winter bike wanted
I just discovered the icy roads have claimed by beloved Steelwool.
Does anyone know anyone in Victoria who fixes steel lugged frames?
... Barring that, is anyone selling a 58/59 cm winter bike?

James Bay transport survey
Hi All, We're creating a James Bay transportation plan and we've been collecting info about transportation via a survey, but we're missing the voice of people ages 15-30. Right now 30% of our responses are from 60-70yrs old, and 3% are from 15-30, which is not good at all. Could you pass this on to ...

Re: Tour de Victoria
Good point Martin. I remember that. I think we're planning on getting coffee pre-6am so we can get in the lineup well in advance. I think getting it to go may be the most reasonable way to go about it.

Re: Looking for kids 24" wheel road OR cross bike
Thanks for the post David. We're finding this a tough decision on many fronts: for example, there is a security concern of having him ride to school on a racy bike (will it still be there after school?), but on the other hand we want to encourage his interest. Multiple bikes is an option, but cash a...

Re: Looking for kids 24" mtn bike
Thanks fellas. I'm going to expand the search to include mountain bikes with 24" wheels. And I'll ask a question to all those with a young one who has made the transition to road bikes: how did your kids find the shift? Was it difficult for a < 10 yr old to learn the slightly difference balance...
