Re: Tripleshot Cross Fondo was Fantastic
Great job to everyone involved. Loved the course, the "Driveway from Hell" and the rest. Great to see lots of familiar (old) faces under the beer tent. Super fun all around look forward to next year.

Saturday Dec 17 MTB (Changed from Sunday)
Hello all I am going to the dump for a 9 AM Sat morning MTB, any takers? I was out yesterday and it was great with the exception of the first 50 meters or so. This will be a totally low key recreational ride with lots of stops and at least one great viewpoint. Here is a brief video segment of yester...

Or, you could drive somewhere and hide in the woods. Seen earlier today at the dump. . . . http://www.realtyvictoria.ca/dump.jpg Now that cross is over, anyone interested in Mountain Biking? I would be up to starting a regular ride or two through the winter, one night ride say Tues or Thurs at 6:30 ...

Re: TripleShot Cross Fondo
Great day on the bike, extremely well organized and super fun! I have never seen so many flat tires in my life, I was glad to be on a mountain bike. The amount of work put in by the volunteers was evident, thank you so much to all that made it possible. BTW you cyclocross (psycho-cross?) riders are ...

Farm Team Kit
Last chance for farm team kit http://mobilizer.ca/farm/ Are you feeling out of place riding with the farm team in your Tripleshot Kit? There is an opportunity to blend in by purchasing Farm Team kit! Perhaps a better term would be costume and "blending in" not the most accurate description...

(r u one of the Marks? Rooks Yup I am one of the Marks and rode on GG #1 on the hardtail MTB out to Leechtown. It sounds like Geoff has a point so we can take the lower less technical trails and if folks are feeling good we can head down Trillium to Willis. MTBing is kinda like cooking - a little b...

Re: Gravel grinder # 3, Tuesday, November 11.
OK I am in. I nice route is to go Goose to Interurban and pick up the Panama Flats trails cross over Viaduct to Prospect Lake then connect to the power lines which will drop you onto Munns then turn up Woodridge which will lead to the back end of the dump. Not sure how those CX bikes are going to wo...

Re: Gravel Grinder or CX LSD and off-road Granfondo.
Thanks for the ride everyone. 1. Having only ridden road-slick 23s for the past four years, my brand new off-road 28 tires made it feel like I ws riding through sand 2. I wasn't expecting a "Gee, how fast do you think we can go?" pace (see Point 1 above) J. Second the motion. Note to self...

Re: Today's B2 crash
Interesting points. From my years of riding the track where brakes were not an option, pulling out to the side was always the tactic used - it gets you away from the wheel in front without overtaking it, and it slows you down in a smooth and manageable fashion. With that in mind you NEVER overlap a ...

Re: The Big Loop Ride - July 20th
I'm riding behind Barton then. Yee of little faith. It has NEVER ever rained on the big loop ride. As for cupcake you are a mountain biker now aren't you? If it rains head for the woods. Looking forward to Sunday current forecast is overcast with no rain down south and east Port Renfrew has a chance...

Re: Mountain Bike Adventure - Thursday July 3rd
"Glenowyn has kindly offered" translation Let's go straight up the 20 degree fire road (as I looked longingly at the single track to the left and right). Then let's go straight down the dusty, loose, trail, noodle along for awhile, enough of that let's go vertical and back up the fire road...
