Nice bikes, but beyond the budget for a 13 year old. Love the Pinkbike handle (Figbug)

My 13 year old son has outgrown the 24" wheel bike and now would fit a small mountain bike- he is 5' 3" tall. Hardtail is fine.

Not sure how many 'organ donors' will be riding, but it is free if you register to become an organ donor (hee hee, I couldn't resist Dave).

I guess it all depends on how big your child is Craig. We bought the Jake 24 for my son when he was 10 and he got two years out of it. He is on a 47cm Jake now which should last him till he is 14. Jim Pauly may still have a ~50cm Jake, or Jake the Snake that his son grew out of. Jim rides TS and bot...

John Taylor bought our Jake 24 last year that his son may have outgrown by now. John?

As of this afternoon, there are two large metal plates on Beach Drive just North of GNS, in the southbound lane. Or think of it this way, on a Tuesday/ Friday ride, just after you pass Cranmore and come to the flats just before GNS, you will encounter a big metal plate. Looks bad, be careful.
