That was super fun. It was great seeing so many clubs represented. And thanks for the kudos. Much appreciated.

Calling Richard, you won an auction item that we need to collect on. PM me.

Wheelers Season Social (and you're invited!!)

Hey folks. I thought I'd post the invite to the Wheelers Year-End Social here. It's open to all cyclists and I know many TSers are also Wheelers club members (as I am). Festivities will be hosted by the Fernwood Inn on November 25 from 6-10pm. Annual awards, draw prizes, a silent auction, and yummy ...

Howdy Lister.
Congrats on the successes last week. You rock.
Let's arrange a time to meet up to return the borrowed helmet.
Cheers,

Re: Advice needed on lights!

OBB has a number of Serfas models that are great. I have a 500 and am buying a 1000. I have been super happy with my 500.

Re: Sprinting in the dark, dark, dark, dark, dark....

Great post John and a much needed conversation for us all to have. My thoughts in order of importance... First, we really need to be mindful that when we are at the front we are riding with the group in our hands. Whether it's deer, cars, peacocks, raccoons, walkers, other riders, obstructions on th...

Ugh. That is so unfortunate. Sorry to hear for everyone involved and to Jim specifically, best of luck with surgery.

Re: Budding into someone else's sprint

GREAT post. I think there's somewhat of an unspoken etiquette with this one and I love Alan's "dance with the one who brung ya" metaphor. In the same vein as hanging on to the back of a group all ride (because you are unable to contribute by pulling through) and then kicking in the sprint ...

Sunday CX

Hey CXers. There is a weekly Sunday CX ride on all none COTR race weekends departing from OBB at 9:15. I did it yesterday and it was super fun. Kiwi James led us through 3hrs of trails, paths, lanes, and roads. It is a no-drop ride with plenty of regrouping and options to bail out if need be. If you...

Re: Crankset, saddle, wheelset, shifters

I can take some pics later today for sure. They'll fit as long as your tricross is QR.
Xero is out of China. They good some good reviews as a beginner to intermediate road wheel. Slightly on the heavy side, nice to look at, basic hub design, affordable.
Cheers.
