Anyone wanna ride bikes with me? I'm still slow but want to get out for a cross ride Saturday morning. Say 7:30 at Mayfair Starbucks (Douglas St, not in mall)? I can't promise we won't get lost, but I think I can string together at least part of the Queen of Pain's route.

In, Thursday or Friday nights work for me, coffee/beer good too.

I can't say much about my race, as I wasn't even able to complete 2 laps. That Bowen Park course is gnarly; the downhills were steep and sketchy because it has been so dry. Thanks Rolf, that's the one I was looking at, so now I know what to order. I'll be all snuggly in my Thermoshield and fleece leg warmers

Any advice on winter jackets? I get cold pretty easily but am willing to layer up. I really want a jacket this year, but it's hard to imagine what the weights are for each jacket. Geoff, I'd definitely be interested in seeing the different jackets you get from the samples.

I'd be interested, but only if some other people are willing to come along at a more mellow pace. I can go either day, but am also carless this weekend.

Unfortunately I work on Friday, so no riding adventures for me. Saturday is my first choice, but Sunday and Monday could work too.

I still haven't made it up Hurricane and the long weekend will be my last chance before school takes over my life again. Is anyone interested in heading up next weekend? I'm planning on the 6:10 over, 12:45 return, probably on the Saturday.

There has been some talk of cornering practice instead of the normal group ride on Friday. Is anyone interested in sticking with the regular C ride? I'm not that interested in cornering practice this week but would still like to get out with some people on the regular route.

I saw Simon at the finish line - smiling despite blood all over his hands and knee! He also wrecked his brand new shorts, but luckily it didn't seem to be anything more serious than that.

I'm interested in going, though it will be weather permitting for me. It'll be my first time so I'm not expecting to get there quickly. I'd be interested in being leisurely with you Paul - lunch sounds good.
