Hmmm, damn, I was considering trying Hurricane ridge on Canada Day too, didn't register that was Thursday, I may not be able to do the cornering session then...

Thanks for the tips this morning Lister, really started to get the feel of it at the end but still need to ingrain the technique/speed for confidence purposes, count me in for next week!

I agree, probably not just the sodium, maybe it was the distraction of pain from your taste buds? Actually I think hydrogen ions from vinegar (acid) could be used to make an osmotic gradient that pulls water in the gut lumen, just like salt is. I think I'll be sticking to gatorade though...
